Maverick Politicians
As more and more people get bored of their presidential options, there is more and more talk of a dramatic third party run. Who could it be? Well, Time's cover story this week is on New York's Mayor and California's Governor, both of whom get tossed into this mix (even though one of them can't run and one is a really short Jew). Hearing about their maverick ways is sort of inspiring, even it's mostly a media creation.

Third Parties
Hell yeah! You've got to support third parties. Duopoly is hardly democracy.
Unfortunately, in my opinion the third parties are going about it the wrong way by running presidential candidates and focusing their funds and attention on that. They should start small with local politics nationwide and gain people's trust. You've got to have more credentials to run for president than just being a guy who hates Bush (green), or hates the government (libertarian).
