Scooter Libby Trial Begins
Other than the short-lived joy we're sure to get from seeing Cheney in a courtroom, Scooter Libby's trial will be pretty pointless. That's because the real source of the leak in question was Richard Armitage, not Libby. So now he's just being accused of lying to a grand jury, but not about anything criminal. Plus, even if he's convicted, a Presidential pardon seems probable. Pure politics.

Scooter -Scooby Do
Scooter & Cheney were the source of all focus and the delusional lies told to the public to get us into the Iraq war. If he has to sweat or even go to prison for the deceit he spread I'll be happy. I'm only sorry Cheney wasn't indicted for outing a spy. This trial is about a cover-up kept from the light of day by Scooter's lies. It's about more than perjury.
