There's no fluff in this mix. Sure, David could have squeezed 20-odd tracks onto the CD but he picked a tight set of largely unaffected music about the joy of rock (and funk and soul and reggae).

There's something pretty awesome about The Grateful Dead's folksy harmonies in "Uncle John's Band" following Spoon's slo-mo celebration in "The Beast And The Dragon Adored."

And Rush may get made fun of on The Family Guy, but Chester isn't entirely wrong about Neil Peart.
