McCain = Sin of CAIN
response to Max Joseph, Chris Weller, Eve Marson, and Alan Wilkis's post John McCain
For, what is War, but Cain's sin, repeated and magnified thousands of times? God's law is for man not to kill his brothers, for we are indeed our brother's keepers as they are ours.

WHAT BIBLE ARE YOU READING?
You say,"For, what is war, but Cain's sin....", Cain's sin was not only that he took his brother's life but that he took it because Cain was envious of Able. Jealous of Able's generous offerings to the LORD and how the LORD respeted Able because of his motivations for giving. Jealousy itself is SIN.
But moving on to war being sin. Tell me where in the "KJV" Bible do you find it stating that war is sin? If you would take out your bible and study Israel's history you will see that it was full of war. Not only that but battles that the LORD led them into and gave them vicktory over. War was Gods plan so that Isreal could become a great and mighty nation. War itself is not SIN!
And for you to call Iraq our "brother" is dead wrong!!! Again, if you would take out your Bible and read it then you would clearly see that in the statment that you made, "...for we are indeed our brother's keepers as they are ours", the title "brother's" would be refering to brothers in Christ. Meaning those of the church or others who are saved. I would not say that America (a notion that was started as a christian nation) and Iraq are brother's. A lot of people in the Iraq nation would love to see Christians die! I would not call that person my brother, though I would have a loving heart for them, they are not in my family untill they are adopted into God's family through Christ.
About the war in Iraq, I am not saying that i agree! I do think our men should come home! But they willingly signed up and clearly knew what they were doing. WAR is what they signed up for! A "SOLDIER" is one that serves to defend the great USA. Be thankful and pray for them!!
