John Mc Cain is the devil
response to Andrew Price's post Meet The Candidates
Come on, do we really want another 100 years of war? Our military is already severely depleted can we risk a parallel war with Iran. Would you send your kids? I know John Mc Cain wouldn't, and George Bush wouldn't even have gone himself. Why don't we ask the families of the over 4,400 dead American soldiers if they are for the war. The Bush administration has already killed more Americans than the September 11th terrorists. And John how is cutting taxes to the poor who either already don't pay taxes or pay very little supposed to help them out? You are out of touch my friend. A heads up Trickle Down Theory is a lie!!!!!!! The last 8 years of republicn aristocracy have turned the American Dream into the American Nightmare, let's not do this to ourselves any longer.

Funny Opinion On The Devil
Point by point
*Your title - Obama and Osama far worse than McCain.
*100 years of war better than wearing burkas - also not war but presence - but don't let the facts bother you.
*Depleted military helped by building it up, not choosing defeat in a war against true evil (yes, militant Islam is even worse than republicans).
*I would send my kids with tears - but yep I'd send 'em.
*My dear friend - lives across the street and two doors down - lost his daughter. Of course, he'd rather her be alive, but he thinks that people with your opinion would make her death lose all of its meaning. He's proud of her.
*Cutting taxes stimulates the economy. What he's afraid to say bc he's a politician - and this is the unpopular part of the message - is that tax cuts means cutting gov't programs! Yeah!
*The last eight years of republicans has kept my wife and daughters out of burkas, too, dear friend.

interesting
while i agree with many of your points. you have some major problems with your facts. first John Mccain's son jimmy fought in iraq until febuary of this year. second their is more like a little over 4000 deaths. While I wont be voting for Mccain. He still is an American hero who has served his country so he deserves respect. Even though we dont agree with him. And dont take this as an attack. Just watch what claims you make and check if their true it hurts your credibility.

McCain '08
joemama, it really is disheartening to read uneducated prattle from liberals. Get better talking points from your party will you. John McCain's younger son, James is a Marine and already served in Iraq. His son Jack is at the Naval Academy now. His older son Doug was a Navy pilot. What more could you ask of a Patriot like McCain? Did you serve? Full disclosure, I am a Naval Academy grad and my son is fighting in Iraq now.

joemama...thank you for sharing to the world just how retarded your comment was. McCain never said he wanted 100 years of war you idiot.
Obama is a Jihadi sympathizing dweeb and Hillary is a budding Leninist. If you want Shar'is Law and/or socialism/communism, move elsewhere you blithering fool.

Pulling troops out of region does not equal peace
No, we do not want 100 years of war, but guess what, the islamic extremists are prepared for 1000 years of war until they have defeated the infidels.
Yes, Iraq was not an islamic extremists state before the US invaded, but if we leave Iraq as an unfinished/failed state, it soon could become one.
What is Obama going to do? Pull troops out of the borders of Iraq, yet still provide support to the Iraqi's and have "strike squads" or whatever he calls them?
So either way, we're having a presence in Iraq/Middle East for a few years to come, which is pretty standard, just look at Japan, Germany, Korea.
We don't want war, but for our security we have to get the region under control. If the extremists continue to hold power and influence, they will continue their declared war on us, whether we recognize it or not.

McCain the Realist
The Quran: http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/009.qmt.html#009.029
Read the Quran stupid! It is the Muslims who have declared war on Christians, Jews, and even Atheists.
The fight will continue until the Muslim's have won or they are all dead.
John McCain has nothing to do with it except in trying to protect America.
Only a Muslim would have a problem with what McCain had to say!

The Devil?
Ok, the history of our world is the history of war. Without it, we would be under Nazi rule. Nobody is "for the war". Ask the men who fought in the Revolutionary war if it was worth it. But you should be "for" justice and the hope of freedom for all people. Sometimes that only comes through blood shed. The Bush administration has not killed anyone, fanatic Muslims, Communism, Socialism, Dictators, Pacifism has. There is no American dream without that which we came into being. "eternal vigilance" and the willingness to fight for what you believe is the only guarantee of our way of life. Lay down your arms and we will loose everything we have. Marxist Obama and the democratic chain gang will lead on the path of Mao and the athiest revolution. You think that is good for America? Where is your patriotism, where is concern for the world? Should we have left Europe alone? What about Japan? Tax the successful? Take from the rich and give to the poor .... right. Then see who provides jobs ... the Red government as it is becoming. Wake up friend and realize our nation is in a civil war and its a communist insurgency. Yes, people are dying and alot more will die if we don't stand up and do something about it. And the answer isn't to create
"In time of peace, prepare for war." George Washington

Do You Really Want to Face War in America?
Given the opportunity to do another 9/11, our vicious enemy would do it today, tomorrow and everyday thereafter. I don't know why they hate us, and I frankly don't care and they can all go to hell, but they do hate us and are driven irrationally to our destruction. The best way to fight them is somewhere else and that is why we are here. For whatever reason they want to destroy our way of life our countrymen at home should be on their knees everyday thanking God we still have enough young people in America today willing to take up the fight as our Veterans did from the earliest days of our nation.
Their mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, wives, husbands, and fiancés are sitting in their living rooms right now with casualty officers learning the true price of freedom, and are only just beginning a lifelong struggle of dealing with the pain and loss of someone so dear, but they are not victims as they knew what they were about and were doing what they wanted to do.
Many of today's self-proclaimed experts and media commentators endeavor to make them out to be victims but they are wrong, and this only detracts from the decision these patriots made to step forward and protect the country that has given so much to all of us. We who are serving, and have served, demand not to be categorized as victims-we are not.
Those with less of a sense of service to the nation never understand it when strong and committed men and women stand tall and firm against our enemies, just as they can't begin to understand the price paid so they and their families can sleep safe and free at night-the protected never do.
What the experts, commentators, and elites are missing, what they will also never understand, is the sense of commitment, joy, and honor, of serving the nation in its uniform, but every American Veteran, and their loved ones who support them and fear for them everyday, do understand.
We should all be confident that this experiment in democracy we call America will forever remain the "land of the free and home of the brave" so long as we never run out of tough young Americans willing to look beyond their own self interest and comfortable lives, and go into the darkest and most dangerous places on earth to hunt down, and kill, those who would do us harm.
In closing I wanted to share a story that you may not be aware of that took place only a few miles from here in Ramadi. On 22 April 2nd Battalion 8th Marines and 1st Battalion, 9th Marines were in the process of turning over a Joint Security Station Nasser.
It's in the Sophia district of Ramadi, and was once the center of the insurgency in that city. Two Marines who barely knew each other as one was coming and the other going were standing guard at the Entry Control Point (ECP): their names were Jonathan Yale and Jordan Haerter.
At 0745, and without warning, a large truck accelerated towards the ECP careening off the protective serpentine. Both must have understood on instinct what was happening as in less then a second they went to the guns and opened fire until the massive 2,000lb blast took their lives-but the suicide bomber never passed the post they protected, and 50 other Marines and perhaps as many police didn't die that day inside the JSS.
I spoke to several Iraqi police eyewitness and they all told the same story, but one more emotionally than the others.
He said no sane man would have stood there directly in the path of a speeding truck firing their weapons-yet two did. His officers, some as close as ten feet initially from the Marines, fired and ran when it was obvious the truck could not be stopped-and they survived. The Marines stood their ground and stopped the truck before it detonated, and saved the lives of their buddies.
A sacred duty of every commander in combat, yet the one we dread the most, is writing letters home to families who have lost a son or a daughter. I wanted to close by reading you a letter I wrote that night to the mother of one of those two heroes that for me sums up who and what we are as warriors and Veterans, why we serve, and how we will remember each other."
Major General John F. Kelly
Bringing the toops home means they fought, got injured, and died for NOTHING! You need to accept that this is what they want! How dare you display a show of ignorace and insult to our troops! What's wrong with you?
You are angry, scared, and irrational. Have you ever even taken the time to visit veterans and ask those serving how they feel? I guess you are no differnt from Obamma who refuses to visit Iraqu and see the truth that YES it is working. You would know a lot more if you only took the time of day to for them. It's not up to you to decide how they should live their lives. ACCEPT THEIR PURPOSE IN LIFE AND BE THANKFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! AND YES, YES, YES, ABSOULTELY I WOULD SUPPORT AND NEVER TRY TO STOP ANYONE WHO FIGHTS FOR OUR FREEDOM! DONE!!!!! Cody

With All Due Respet
I would like to you at least consider what I am going to say and place yourself in future reality. War is Forever-Nation against Nation. Bringing home the troops does not make them and their loved ones safe. Parents don't send their kids. These brave soldiers CHOOSE to serve their country and nobody can stop them. What a great honor it is to have people that love americans more than theirself. This includes YOU! If your child ran out into a busy street, would you not move swiftly without a second thought to save him sacrificing your own life? These brave soldiers don't know you and are doing it for you. With all due respect, you fell into the trap of programming. If you allow people to influence you with their emotions and unknown facts, then you become just another offspring of them. I think that's what's happened here. A lot of anger and bitterness comes from emotions. Separating emotions from logic enables one to focus and make the best decisions possible. And please, please do speak to the families. I think you may be surprised at what they have to say. I personally don't need to ask their families. I already know. Have you asked them yourself? Have you spoke with any troops? What about veterans? With all due respect, I think it would be a good educational experience for you. The only thing is, I believe they will tell you things that you don't want to accept, but that's the best thing you can do. Go straight to the source and stop allowing yourself to be manipulated by others. And when it comes to the media, believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see. The truth lies within those who are not on public display and aren't getting paid. That would be your troops, veterans, and their families my friend. With all due respect, I don't think you have any concept of an American nightmare. This country will become communist as long as people remain stupified and vote based on their emotions. Out of desperation people make thoughtless consequential decisions. How about when Saddam dipped people in acid? If he liked you, he ordered them to dip him head first, but slowly of course. Have you forgotten Hitler. Gas chambers and ovens? There were no rights. This is a NIGHTMARE. The terrorists killed the Americans, my friend. Not one soldier signed up for the military without being fully aware of his or her duty to the country. I believe Obama does want to stop nuclear warfae. Why? Because he said so. Not my friends or the media, he did. If America is disarmed, your issue on taxes is of irrelevance. You see, no other issue is more important than having the ability to defend our country. Without it, it makes all other concerns null and void. Why? Because you will be under different rule. Don't want to play by the rules? Then you'll be tortured and killed and throw into the pit with the others. Just a thought for future American nightmare. I havn't been able to obtain any solid information based on Obama's experience. If anybody has any, please share it with me. Otherwise, I just don't feel comfortalbe in having an on-the-job training presidency especially in times that are so crucial to our security. We are in a serious situation here and our center of focus needs to be there at all times.

Are you insane
First you rag on the military, then you want to call them "our military"
If you ask the families of all our dead heroes they will tell you war is hell, but they will tell you they are proud of the sacrifice that thier fallen heroe has made. To speak ill of all those who have giving their life in service to this country is to cheapen their sacrifice.
And the Democrats of the last 3 1/2 years all came in with lots of promises to fix everything yet have only increased the level of suffering in this country. The President doesn't make laws. Lets start putting the blame where it really belongs.

McCain is the devil?...
...and you're a doo-da-doo! I was going to leave a lengthy response, but after reading all the other responses I feel it to be unecessary. I would like to say this. Perhaps before you suggest asking the families of American soldiers if they are for the war, consider actually doing so. I am married to an American soldier and it kills me every time he goes back to Iraq, but I couldn't be more proud of his dedication and commitment to his country. I am not pleased by the war, but I understand that it is a necessary evil and our household has accepted that. Perhaps next time you should think before you type.
God bless America!
Please pray for our leaders!

"Speaking of the Devil"
I bet very few (like none)of the people that are (extremist) critical of John McCain really know anything about him or what he stands for. The same goes for people who are so in favor of Barrack Hussein Obama. Who really knows anything about Obama? He's like a rock star or something, that's all he is "like" something, not someone who has “different” genuine ideas. People are hopeful that the change he is going to bring is going to be better than what we have now. Most of the people I know who don't like Prez Bush or McCain and love Obama are people who never read the papers, listen to the news or read any of the books on these subjects that are available. They just look for people who agree with them and read the headlines. I really get mad when I hear these liberal politicians talk about our current foreign policy being so wrong and off course. Has anyone listened to Condoleezza Rice lately? Our foreign policy is the best we've had in 30 years. It's working. Has anyone heard of what's happening in North Korea lately? Or what happened in Libya? "6" party multilateral talks are working, Da! Bilateral talks (like Obama wants to do) to any dictator brings legitimacy to their policies and gives them more power and weakens us and the free world. You can't talk common sense w/ these dictators; they only know violence and suppression. Using scare tactics and spreading fear. The best way to deal with these tyrants is to engage them with the majority of the free world. We are at war with radical extremists that want to kill and destroy democracy. So why aren't more people on the side of the people who are fighting the war on terror and those that want to win. Because they don't have the stomach for it, that’s the only reason. Each generation has to fight for it's freedom (sound familiar? it's a quote from Ronald Reagan. Remember him? He's the one responsible for the Berlin gates opening and the wall coming down and the fall of communism. Don’t any of you liberal young guns out there remember that? Prez Reagan, man that man had balls. We need someone who's going to be tough and have the guts to put this country and the free world first. We don't need some pussy whoop like Obama whispering sweet nothings in the ears of our sworn enemies getting bent over a log squealing like pig! Does that remind you of anything? Former Prez Carter going over to Hamas to talk about peace, they don’t know what the word peace means. Yeah, that really worked, and then the ignoramus former Prez wanted to blame the USA for not warning him. Next time someone asks why spreading democracy is so important. Tell them to think about the fact that 2 democratic governments have never started a war with each other? That's why spreading and defending democracy and freedom around the world is so important and why Prez Bush and John McCain feel so passionate about it. Our Freedom is what's at jeopardy for us right now. We are winning this war on terror, because we are still free. Some of us don’t appreciate that fact, probably because there are others (our brave soldiers and brilliant leaders) fighting their battle for them right now without them even realizing it. I think these people who criticize what’s happening in this country right now needs to really think (not feel) but contemplate how it is to be free and look into their life and what changes in their own lives it’s going to take to make it better here in America. Action speaks louder than words!!!! I think we need something big to happen in this country to get us back together again. No I'm not talking about something bad (that does the trick though doesn’t it, does in our own lives too). I'm talking about drilling the shit out of our ground and seas and stockpile our own natural resources and fuel and start using the shit out of alternative sources of energy, strengthen our military and our dollar. Obama doesn’t have a clue about any of this!!!!!!!

These people that think like this do too many drugs. Thats ahy they cant see reality. Listen , I know every1 has a difference of opinion and they are entitled to their own opinion. BUT REALLY did they do that many drugs to not be able to see things clearly? the facts are the facts. not to be realistic about what will happen if we have anything but some1 in office who cares about american people and civilization as we know it.I think the leftwing people have brain inbalances. They cant even support what they say when they are challenged. Ever notice when they are questioned?, they dodge the question and go on to try to make the point that they cant even back up?

What an idiot!
First, in your lifetime there has not been a 100 year war. Yes our military is depleted but even then we are the strongest power and have the greatest military in the world, especially if the Hollywood and San Francisco liberals would sit back and shut up and enjoy the freedoms provided by out military. I think it is simply hilarious when you say that McCain wouldn't send his kids. McCain has earned that rightif you consider the time he spent in captivity in Vietnam. Yes Bush was a coward, but so was Bill Clinton, Cassius Clay, and Lou Alcender but I don't see any of your comments about them being cowards. I also did not see Chelsea Clinton's name on any enlistment contract. By the way, just curious how long you spent in the military serving this country that you so easily put down. There is nothing about this war that I like or appreciate but as I recall, we were attacked first so Afghanistan is certainly not part of that equation. But when you consider that everyone in the world with any brains knew that Iraq had chemical weapons because he knowingly used them on his own people. The fact that he had 15 months of warning that he risked war if he did not destroy his known chemical weapons should easily explain to anyone with common sense that he also had 15 months to secure and move them so they would not be found. You can bet that they were easily within his reach before he was found hiding like a coward in a hole. Wake up and smell the coffee. We are citizens of the greatest in the history of man and yet we have people like you. The scare thing is is that you, God forbid, might even be eligible to vote and that is scary. Do you even know what "hanging chad" is? God bless America again, please.

Joestupid is more like it!
Coming from a veteran you know shit about politics or war. We need to strengthen our military and take care of Americans. Obama is a racist, his wife is a racist and if they win as one proud american who served her country, I would be sadly dissapointed. Have Americans lost their mind. Choosing a man whose wife seems to be a black supremist. Don't fool yourself into thinking that wives of presidents have nothing to do with how the president makes decisions because you would be sadly mistaken. Take a look at Hillary. Voting for McCain seems to be a no brainer and the only right decision. I come from a large family of many veterans. We served and fought for our country and take pride in being American Citizens. Read up people Obama is not a patriotic person. McCain is a decorated veteran. I could go on and on but dude Obama is the epitomy of the antichrist.

Mind of the Military
You said, "Why don't we ask the families of the over 4,400 dead American soldiers if they are for the war" Let's see if I qualify. My brother was killed in Iraq Sept. 20, 2004. My other brother is about to commission as a 2nd Lieutenant. And I, myself, am on my way to becoming an officer in the US Army and look forward to serving my country. Bottom line up front, Yes I support the war, and both of my brothers dead and alive support the war as well as everyone I have EVER served with. While McCain is a bit of an idiot, he is still a war hero and a much better choice than Rodham or Saddam. And I do believe McCain would send his kids as he himself faithfully served. You are the one who is "out of touch" my friend. If you are going to speak for those of us in the military please get your facts straight first.

To quote Thomas Sowell - "The most fundamental fact about the ideas of the political left is that they do not work. Therefore we should not be surprised to find the left concentrated in institutions where ideas do not have to work in order to survive." Seems a plausible explanation to me as to why this idiot writes his own history, all of it wrong of course. Go off and live your drug induced dream somewhere else lamebrain!

Funny Opinion On The Devil
If you had lived through WW2 you would understand how much sacrifice the home people had to do to enable our military to continue that fight until it was over. During that time, you never heard a word of despair or complaints about how we couldn't buy the things we wanted to buy, etc.
Everyone bit the bullet to make sure our military men were adequately supported and we were willing to give up alot of things to do that.
It was worth while because we won that horrible war. If we hadn't you would be speaking either German or Japanese
today.
