I Love My Library
response to Rudy Adler's post Project 004
I recently moved to Topsham, Maine and found that this town has hands down the kindest local library staff I've ever encountered. They make the local library a fun, interactive, welcoming place for readers of all ages. Public libraries can be such a force of GOOD in our world, supporting literacy, giving kids and adults access to all kinds of information and opportunities to learn. I'd like to the Topsham Public Library a care package of appreciation. I would send:
-a subscription to GOOD for the library
-a certificate of appreciation
-a pinata to celebrate all their hard work...library-themed or shaped like a book or card catalog(?) would be cool, but the regular old donkey or sun will do just fine
