  I'm glad you decided to take it upon yourself to say the obvious. I know that is an opinion, it was kind of satyrical towards the dictionary definition someone so proudly posted, but thanks for looking out for me.

  These "Repuglicans" you speak of aren't exactly fans of changing the rules, if you do some research, most of the conservative republicans at least, want to keep the original meaning of the constitution here since it isn't a living document. Something somehow brings suspected terrorists into the light, they don't just get there out of nowhere. If they are innocent, there will be evidence, or lack there of to prove it. I on one hand think the nation's safety far surpasses in priority to being right or wrong about accusations. No one is being killed in Gitmo by the way, but don't let the facts get in the way, liberals never do though. and might I add there are too many suspected terrorists being released just to see them again either plotting more, or actually being on the battlefield... And we're so concerned about giving them rights..

  The reason why killing an innocent life is WAY different is because it is an INNOCENT life. In no way, shape, or form has this baby merited any kind of punishment, or death for that matter. There are many people who use abortion as a form of birth control, which is sickening. And you obviously missed my point about comparing the putting down of animals to the way abortions are done, but that's ok, anyone who doesn't understand and "can't figure out why" that unwarrantably placing value on innocent human life and deciding which one dies and which one lives based off of MOSTLY convenience issues isn't worth my time.

  I enjoyed your title, the "mom" part amused me because I have to admit, I did patronize a little only because you have to speak to children that way.. But seriously, if I can make it, anyone can.. My household income barely exceeds 25k a year, and I still manage to afford a house, two cars, and a new-born child. America has a spending problem more than a cost problem, and do your homework, it's not the big bad President Bush that is making oil prices go up, oil speculators expect to see a rising cost due to higher demand (which, by the way the demand took a huge drop this past month, so oil prices fell by $20/barrel). Plus, the senate AND house have been run my democrats for a good while now, and what have gas prices done since they've been in charge..? You guessed it..

  And don't give me that crap about the wealthy should be punished for their prosperity, they got to where they are because of the country we live in, ANYone is capable of it. Just look at the self-made men and women like Bill Cosby, Oprah, thousands of athletes across the nation,Donald Trump. Do you think they moaned about not having money and how the wealthy need to be taxed? No sir, they made something for themselves by working hard, and the time that they lived in makes NO difference whatsoever. I know hard-work scares you, but seriously, it works..

  If the government decides to increase taxes on big business, the small businesses will get hit too, which provides around 85%(correct me if I'm wrong) of ALL employment in the U.S. Not only will raising taxes deplete the job market, but companies will pass on their revenue losses to the consumer.. If you think times are tough noq, wait until you see your grocery bill if this happens. B.O. wants to double our capital gains tax, which if you look back in history, lowers America's overall revenues. Also, It's not only the rich that will suffer, there are millions of Americans that have modest investments in the stock market as well as other places. This could be someone's grandmother out there living off of a retirement fund based from investments in the oil companies. So lets leaves this capitalist how it is, all countries have had their economic slow-downs, but our system works, it's how we became the most powerful and wealthy nation in the world.

  Just so you know, I AM an advocate of keeping American jobs in America..

  I'm sorry, but if there is someone that is SUSPECTED to be a terrorist, I wouldn't have preferred to compare him/her to a fetus, I probably would have compared him to a suspected terrorist...

  By the way, if you are infact against killing human life, then Obama's policies on botched abortions should be a deal breaker. You should read about what the procedure is for a botched abortion, or any abortion for that matter if you haven't already.. It brought me to tears.. It's really sad that we, by law, must put our animals down for death more humanely than a human life.

  So..

  And the NYT has done nothing of the sort back at Fox News? They made some pretty unflattering drawings of a handful of FN Talk Show hosts before this came out. It seemed like it was all in good fun though to be honest, I thought it was humorous. I think you're right though, ratings as high as Fox News' definitely reflects their extremely low credibility..

  I would just like to know how the middle class foots the bill of the rich. Most of the rich got there with hard work and know-how. As a middle class citizen, I'm glad they got where they are today, MOST of them deserve it, and I do not wish the government to do me any favors. The American people should be financially responsible for themselves and not rely on a nanny state to take care of them. All you liberals are the same, no personal accountability. If you can't do something yourselves, you rely on the very government you freely speak out against to solve all of your problems. Grow up, get a job, and quit your bitching.

  Life is defined by cell reproduction... Neither the sperm or egg is able to reproduce on its own, so life has begun once a successful conception is made. I think it is very sad that by law we must put our animals down to be killed more humanely than human life.

  As far as birth control goes, they inhibit any sort of life from beginning, so there is nothing wrong with it.

  Hello all, my first post..

  A man that knows the economy and business very well that is endorsing McCain is Steve Forbes. He knows that a nation (especially one going through a recession) cannot be taxed to prosperity, and that under B.O.’s tax policies would do terrible things during these hard economic times. Furthermore, the guy gives me a terrible feeling. I HOPE people will CHANGE their minds, get out of their messianic trance, and realize that he’s just another radical liberal who doesn’t believe in personal accountability like most liberals. Examples:

  Did an illegal alien sneak into our country to reap the benefits without paying his/her dues? I mean, our tax dollars are paying for their imprisonment, their countless anchor baby births, and their children’s education. Don’t let them see consequences and deport them back, lets grant them amnesty!

  Are you pregnant because you decided to have sex? Don’t you worry, liberals don’t care that by law we have to put down animals more humanely than a human life, just get an abortion! After all, Obama wouldn’t want HIS daughters being “PUNISHED by having a child” (his words). I know there is more to it than that though, but I happen to know two women that were raped, but decided to keep the baby anyway because the baby isn’t responsible for what some disgusting person did, and one of them gave it up for ADOPTION… what a thought huh..? By the way, Obama has a truly barbaric stance on abortion… Look up legislation he tried to passed on botched abortions.. then look up what doctors do about botched abortions after the baby comes out.. it brought me to tears..

  About to foreclose on your home? Didn’t read the fine print on your ADJUSTABLE rate mortgage..? Lets get the gov’t to bail you out! Seriously? C’mon, sometimes the best lesson learned is out of failure, but we’ll continue to be a nanny state to irresponsible people. Keeping people away from failure just makes them more prone to it..

  Obama has NO relative knowlege of the economy, no knowlege on our nation’s defense, and no moral character.. He is an empty suit, and just tells people what they want to hear! Please keep this man away from the most powerful position in the world…for the love of God.
