I can't help but wonder who these numerous service-persons you mentioned are. Having served in Iraq and having many friends currently serving in Iraq and having served under opinionated superiors in Iraq - I can tell you with zero hesitation that the majority of Americans currently in Iraq do NOT want to be there - do NOT like it when misinformed people use our service, in a situation civilians can't even imagine, as latitude to further their own very small political agendas - do NOT want to be away from their families any longer - and CERTAINLY DO NOT want anyone to be under the illusion that we were somehow protecting America. We are protecting Iraq and the financial security a "free" iraq qill offer the US. I'm sure you're two boys are wonderful children - but in the months that i've spent over there I can safely say that protecting your children (or any americans) was one of the furthest things from our minds.
I could go on to dispute your claims about Wright - but that is about as pointless as it can get. Wright has ZERO to do with direction our nation is headed - it does, however, have everything to do with media sensationalism.
Last, i'm always stunned when people throw around phrases like "too many americans made the mistake..." Do you understand what it means to be a "free" society? It means that sometimes people make mistakes. I'm not saying that is what happened - i'm simply saying that if you're an american you choose what you think is right. Sometimes it means being correct and sometimes it means being incorrect. If I were to throw in my personal opinion though... starting an illegal and ongoing war, illegally spying on us citizens, giving oil companies billion dollar tax cuts, creating a national debt of nearly 10 trillion dollars, borrowing nearly 860 billion dollars from China and Japan (which is the cause of the declining dollar), the patriot act, attempting to ammend the constitution to allow for discrimination, etc --- I would call these mistakes.

"murder an innocent unborn child" -- That phrase in itself speaks volumes. How can something that does not exist be murdered? How does something that does not exist be innocent?
If we were talking about partial birth abortions i'd agree with you 2496851924785123456%. ...but we're not. We're talking about terminating pregnancy before any sentients or life has been created.
By your reasoning, masturbation should be outlawed. Afterall, all those innocent unborn babies are being left to die in a pile of tissue.
